    Impact of ataxia-telangiectasia mutated (ATM) loss on radiobiological and immune response to radium-223 in prostate cancer in vitro models. (PubMed, Clin Transl Radiat Oncol)
    These findings demonstrate that ATM-deficiency enhances radiobiological response and amplifies immune activation to 223Ra, supporting further pre-clinical evaluation of ATM loss as a determinant of response and therapeutic target to optimise 223Ra based strategies for mCRPC.

    Preclinical Evaluation of Radium-223 and Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors Using an Immune-Competent Model of Prostate Cancer Bone Metastases. (PubMed, Precis Oncol)
    223RaCl2 localizes primarily to bone surfaces, limiting direct cytotoxic and immunomodulatory effects within the tumor microenvironment. While combination with ICIs did not improve efficacy, these findings provide a platform for studying spatial dose distribution and support future development of tumor-targeted alpha therapies to potentiate immunotherapy in mCRPC.
